- Mow or grub all vegetation (up to 5” DBH), leaving no more than 3” above ground level - Repair any damage from burrowing rodents and/or wave action, - Regrade embankment slopes to a minimum of 2:1 in preparation for stone placement, - Provide and place all crushed stone (Type “D” Riprap), as follows: o Armor stone must be placed, fit, and compacted to prevent downslope migration o Top elevation of band of armor: 1.0’ below existing embankment top elevation o Bottom elevation of band of armor: toe of embankment o Minimum thickness of band of armor – 12 inches o Approximate total length of embankment to be armored – see below: ▪ Task 1: Tippit A – North: 2,300 feet ▪ Task 2: Tippit B – North: 1,300 feet ▪ Task 3: Tippit C – East: 2,000 feet ▪ Task 4: Tippit C – North: 500 feet ▪ Task 5: Tippit C – West: 600 feet
