Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) is seeking a qualified consultant to provide evaluation of current fare media market and best practices, system and machine specifications to best meet needs, assistance with the procurement of an implementation vendor, and oversight of the selected system installation and training. The selected vendor for this project cannot propose on the equipment procurement. The role is to provide advisory and technical assistance. The selected vendor must complete the following tasks, at a minimum. 1. Develop ticket vending machines (TVM) technical and functional specifications that meet GCRTA’s specific needs, including monitoring and backend management, considering industry best practices. a. Provide current industry and market knowledge related to fare media vending solutions. GCRTA would like to retain the selected vendor to provide technical assistance. Assistance will be on an as needed basis including, but not limited, to the following: 1. Machine acquisition Request for Proposal (RFP) process such as: a. Proposal review b. Meeting with staff and/RFP panel c. Machine provider selection discussion 2. Installation a. Machine testing b. Setup c. Installation
