VEHICLES SPECIFICATIONS The three (3) new utility vehicles furnished shall be a Kubota RTVX2C, current in production, standard productions unit, which will meet all the performance and standards required herein. Vehicles to be four-wheel drive, diesel engine, hydrostatic power front wheel steering, hydraulic operated dump body, rated load capacity of 2.5 cubic yards, top speed to be governed not to exceed 25 MPH, turning diameter not more than 25 ft. Dimensions on the complete unit, with cab shall be approximately 122” in length x 65.4” wide x 81.9” high. Vehicles must meet all Occupational Safety and Health Act regulations, and meet ANSI B56.8-8 safety requirements. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Vehicles to have a 12-volt electric system that is protected with fuses, alternator (2) headlights, single windshield wiper, combination stop and tail light, horn ammeter, hour meter, water temperature gauge, fuel gauge, turn signals with 4-way emergency flasher, 12 volt battery x 660 CCA, starter, ignition key starter switch, speedometer, temperature gauge, part brake “on” indicator, low oil pressure light, 12 volt power port. ENGINE To be a manufacture’s three (3) cylinder, four (4) cycle, liquid-cooled fuel injected diesel engine with minimum 23.3 HP at 3000 RPM. Electric starter, positive displacement gear oil pump with full pressure lubrication, replaceable cartridge type full flow oil filter. Maximum speed is controlled through the use of an internal engine mechanical governor. POWER TRAIN To have a continuously variable hydrostatic transmission with high, medium and low gear ranges and reverse. To be 4-wheel drive with shift on the go. Must have locking rear differential. BRAKES To be four-wheel heavy duty self-adjusting hydraulic internal wet disc, protected from foreign matter with dual master cylinder. Rear mechanical parking brake with hand-operated lever.
