The purpose of this solicitation is to secure services to evaluate the operation and performance of the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems for each of the Sand Hill Energy Center’s four (4) simple cycle units. The scope of work will include sampling and testing of the catalyst as well as evaluation of plant operational data in order determine problems, assess catalyst remaining life and make recommendations for improvement of the SCR systems. The final report shall include extent of catalyst deactivation and remaining useful life, cause(s) of the deactivation, recommended operational changes to limit (further) deactivation, and recommended replacement catalyst for plant operational conditions and philosophy.
