The Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) is working collaboratively with federal, state and local partners to implement multiple systems and programmatic changes that will support modernization of the aging network. To support uptake of these multiple advancements, ODA is seeking a contractor with instructional design skills and experience in continuous improvement to develop eLearning education, digital resources, training products and to provide technical assistance. The following areas are prioritized for the development of enhanced trainings tools and technical assistance. 1. Process Updates – The ODA Program Areas are updating several processes to streamline and better support data collection and sharing. Some of these processes include provider operations, no-wrong door intake and information sharing process, local plan processing, fiscal processes, grantee and provider monitoring. Technical assistance is needed to educate end users about the updates and to develop training materials to support implementation. 2. Program Changes – Older American Act updates, waiver service updates, PACE expansion, and Access Rule implementation. Technical assistance is needed to develop and offer eLearning and training resources to provide foundational education around these changes for SUA staff and aging network partners. 3. New IT Systems – Several ODA IT systems are being updated and there is a need for overviews, hands-on trainings, pre-recorded system demonstrations, and support guides to be developed for end users. These systems include OAA data reporting, screening and assessment, and case management systems.
