2.1 EXCAVATION Basis of Payment Payment shall be made in accordance with ODOT Item 203 and shall also include the cost for removal of all excavated materials, including trucking and grading of subbase. 2.2 AGGREGATE BASE; AGGREGATE BASE FOR BUS SHELTERS Basis of Payment Payment shall be in accordance with ODOT Item 304 and shall include also the cost of all labor and materials under this item including grading of the aggregate base. 2.3 4” CONCRETE WALK & 8” CONCRETE WALK; 6” WALK FOR BUS SHELTER PADS Basis of Payment Payment shall be made in accordance with ODOT Item 608 and shall also include the cost for all full depth diamond blade saw cutting, washing off of concrete slurry from driveways and roadways, compacting the aggregate base, installation of curb ramps where needed, concrete walk placed and finished, application of cure and seal, expansion joint materials, placement of cold patch to repair asphalt driveways sawcut for sidewalk placement, and quality control testing by an approved laboratory. 2.4 8” CONDUIT, TYPE C Basis of Payment Payment shall be made in accordance with ODOT Item 611 and shall include the cost of all labor and materials to connect to existing conduit and grading to provide positive drainage into swale leading into conduit. 2.5 CLEARING AND GRUBBING Basis of Payment Work under this item shall conform to ODOT Item 201 and include all labor, equipment, and materials included in this item including removal of existing trees, rocks, or signs to be relocated or removed. Price shall also include root pruning of any existing trees to remain and any trimming of tree branches over hanging the sidewalk.
