The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction seek the services of a Protestant Religious Service Provider to perform Protestant services at Trumbull Correctional Institution. Responses to this Request for Proposal are to be submitted via OhioBuys. SCOPE OF SERVICES: Contractor is expected to work up to thirty-two hours per week at an hourly rate of $21.65. Contractor will provide the following services: Conduct weekly Protestant Christian services (Institution & Camp). Provide religious study or education classes (Institution & Camp). Provide general pastoral care to Protestant Christian incarcerated individuals, which may include consultation concerning religious issues, grief care, crisis pastoral counseling, pastoral visitation with incarcerated individuals, etc. (Institution & Camp). Attend annual Religious Services Meeting – Mandatory. Make referrals of incarcerated individuals to the services (Institution & Camp). Distribution of religious literature and/ or conduct religious program (Institution & Camp). Assistance to Chaplain in appropriate duties and/ or conduct religious programs at Institution and Camp. Complete a monthly report form on services provided – to be submitted to the DWSS and the DRC Administrator, Operation Support Center – no later than the 5th of the month. Provide specialized ministry services including: Pastoral care and/ or visitation of incarcerated individuals in special units. This may include Transitional Program Unit (TPU), death row, hospital, hospice care, living units, and visiting room (Institution & Camp). Conduct funeral service for Protestant Christian incarcerated individuals at Institution and Camp. Perform holiday services (Easter, Christmas) at Institution and Camp. $75 yearly compensation for attendance at annual mandatory Religious Services Contractor Meeting as requested by contract.
