With the input of BroadbandOhio leadership, the proposer will perform the following duties: 1. Collaborate with a project team of state agency representatives and local digital inclusion partners to develop an approved program for use within state prison facilities that best meets the needs of Ohioʼs incarcerated populations and includes the following core components: • Assessments to identify the necessary competencies that learners should meet concerning different computer- and web-based tools and tasks • Instructional tools, both online and for a classroom setting, that support learnersʼ achievement of necessary competencies. These tools include lesson plans and other curriculum materials for instructor-led programs as well as online modules for instructor-led programs or self-guided learning. • Certification upon completion of proctored tests to show mastery of necessary competencies 2. Collaborate with state agency representatives and partners to ensure the availability and implementation of the program in designated state prison facilities. 3. Collaborate with the NERC to comply with all applicable regulations for the program and work to create best practices for this program. 4. Collaborate with state agency representatives and partners to ensure the availability and implementation of the program for every public library system in Ohio. 5. Engage in data collection, assessment, implementation, monitoring and reflection, as part of a continuous improvement process to support ongoing digital inclusion needs as part of the program. 6. Provide basic administrative support and training at State's reasonable request, through electronic means.
