Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department’s Office for Exceptional Children (OEC) is responsible for employing qualified personnel to investigate and issue findings for IDEA state complaints. Please see 34 CFR 300.152, Minimum State Complaint Procedures. To ensure Department personnel have the appropriate skills needed to complete these responsibilities professional development and training are routinely employed to fulfill the IDEA state complaint requirement. Offeror shall provide training on IDEA state complaint investigations including current trends for state complaint procedures and findings to approximately twenty (20) Department personnel on a mutually agreeable date(s) to total two work-day trainings (total of 12 hours).
