Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Routine Snow Removal Services: A Contractor will be required to perform snow removal service 24 hours per day / 7 days per week, (Sunday through Saturday). Snow removal services to commence with one (1) inch of snowfall. Contractor will begin snow removal services at the property as soon as snowfall reaches a depth of one (1) inch regardless of the time of day or night or the day of the week. Overnight snow accumulation shall be cleared before the Animal Shelter opens at 8:30 am in the morning. The pedestrian walkways and steps located in the front and behind the Animal Shelter building shall be treated with salt after removing the snow by shoveling or snow blowing.; 2. Salting: A Contractor will be required to apply salt on all drive lanes, fire lanes, parking areas, and pedestrian walkways. Rock salt shall be used in drive lanes, fire lanes, and parking areas. Calcium chloride shall be used on concrete walkways and steps.; 3. Additional Plowing or Salting as Requested: In addition to normal operations, the County may request additional plowing or salting as needed. The contractor shall respond within two (2) hours of the County’s request.; 4. Site Areas: Drive lanes, fire lanes; Vehicle entryways and exits; Parking lots; Pedestrian walkways and steps
