Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Akron desires to engage in Security Services for Summer 2023 events located primarily at Downtown Akron’s Lock 3. The Provider shall deliverthe necessary servicesregarding security and general crowd management as directed by theCity for the City as it relatesto performances at Akron’s Lock 3 during the 2023 Season, and for anyother events. Services include, but are not limited to: • Gate checking bags - for certain shows wands and pat downs may be required. • Parking deck monitoring - keeping people moving along, so they cannot stand along the end and watch or drop things over. • Loading dock – monitor and assure that trucks are secure while the stagehands are moving equipment to the stage. • Dressing rooms – monitor and secure that only appropriate people are allowed into the dressing room area. • Stage – monitor that the stage and other restricted areas are secure. • Work overnight – making sure the equipment left on the stage overnight is secured and not disturbed.
