All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Recognition of Purpose: The Contractor shall insure that all Guards are aware that their primary purpose is to maintain order, protect clients, staff, visitors, the general public and property from harassment, injury, damage or theft, and to call appropriate law enforcement agencies and/or fire/medical-rescue departments when necessary. B. Contractor’s Corporate Requirements: 1. Contractor must provide the PISGS Class C certification for their company and documentation for each Guard. 2. The Contractor herein agrees not to enter into any subcontracts for the performance of this contract. 3. Company agrees to furnish to the agency weekly written reports on the activities of the Guard(s). 4. Contractor agrees to continually monitor all guards, so that they meet the minimum requirements stated herein throughout the life of the contract. C. Contractor’s Guard Personnel Requirements: 1. All Guards must be able to perform all duties as detailed herein. Guards shall have the physical agility to move rapidly within the patrolled area to respond to any emergency Guards shall have the physical stamina to work in extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to summer’s sun and heat and winter’s cold, ice and snow. 2. All Guards are required to comply with the general work rules set forth by the agency for the assigned facility applicable to them as part of this contract. 3. All Guards shall be free of arrest records for duration of contract and MUST have been licensed by the Ohio Department of Public Safety’s Private Investigator Security Guard Services division (PISGS), in Class C: licensed to provide Security Guard services. Proof of said licensure MUST be provided to with your bid. The PISGS licenses of all assigned guards must be renewed annually upon the PISGS’ schedule and updated copies must be provided to the Parks Department at that time. 4. The Contractor shall supply, to the agency, a list of the Guards who will be assigned to the contract location(s) and all Guards that may be used as replacements in case of sickness, vacations, or turnover. All new Guards shall be subject to this Section 4 and shall be added to the list by the Contactor before being assigned work at the contract location(s). a. Cincinnati Park Board, hereinafter “CPB” may request an interview with each Guard prior to assignment. Announces arrival and on duty status via the Radio. Patrols the venue and protects against fire, theft, vandalism, and disorderly conduct. Checks in with staff at each facility during the hours of operation. Checks exterior facility doors and makes certain they are locked. Escorts staff as requested. Notifies staff of any emergencies that required "911" assistance. Notifies patrons that the venue is closing. Locks the exterior restroom doors. Uses Pulse-star Wand to verify patrol (iButtons are currently installed throughout park and along surveillance route) Reports to the Region Manager or Superintendent of Operations. Completes records and reports. Submits all reports on time. (Examples: Accidents to Participants, As Occurs, Property Damage) Reports any unusual occurrences to the appropriate supervisor. Reports definite or potential hazards and unsafe conditions to the proper person. Alerts staff to risks or potential accidents. Administers first aid required by an accident victim. Within limits of training, a Guard may provide initial care needed to sustain life until the qualified medical personnel take over. Activates, as required, the Cincinnati Park Board’s Emergency Action Plans. Observes and enforces all Park Commission Rules and Regulations. Solicits help from the Region Manager or Superintendent of Operations. Projects a positive image in both conduct and appearance.
