The Columbus Recreation and Parks Department is seeking quotes for the supply and installation of galvanized steel fencing per the included map. This project will alter the current layout by moving the fence on to the asphalt. Interested Vendors/contractors are encouraged to visit the park and inspect the project in person to verify needed materials and the scope of the work before submitting a quote. The fence surrounds an ADA sports court on the west side of the park. Summary of Work Removal of the existing fencing, posts and rails shown on the included map. Installation of galvanized metal fencing per the included map. Fence to match remaining left outfield fence in style, gauge and height. New fencing to include a bottom rail. Project adds a 36” wide gate on the right outfield fence, location noted on site map. Gate to match height of installed fence. Posts installed on asphalt will require vendor to core drill the asphalt to properly install. Overall depth of support posts to meet manufacturers specifications. Drilled holes to be filled with concrete to match existing grade when setting posts. Install a bottom rail on left outfield fence matching bottom railing installed on new fencing. Contractor will be expected to provide all needed materials to complete this project. Installation of fence is to be coordinated with CRPD project manager to avoid scheduling conflicts and ensure the park remains safe for public use. Contractor will be expected to return the site to its pre‐construction condition. This may include repairing damage caused by machinery or removing excess dirt left over from drilling holes for posts. Color coated sports court to be protected to avoid damage during construction.
