Specifications include, but are not limited to: 6.1: Areas to be Maintained Awarded vendor(s) shall maintain the areas identified during each lawn care event at each site as identified on the attached site plans. 6.1.1: Butler County Interstate 75 Roadside Rest Areas 8-35 and 8-36 • Northbound 8-35 Site o All Areas identified Approximately 6.2 Acres o Approximately 1,850 lineal feet of sidewalk edging • Southbound 8-36 Site o All Areas identified Approximately 3.4 Acres o Approximately 2,750 lineal feet of sidewalk edging 6.1.2: Clermont County US Route 52 Primitive Roadside Rest Area 8-03 • Eastbound 8-03 Site o All Areas identified Approximately 0.3 Acres o Approximately 200 lineal feet of sidewalk edging 6.1.3: Preble County Interstate 70 Roadside Rest Area 8-39 • Eastbound 8-39 Site o All Areas identified Approximately 22.7 Acres o Approximately 3,700 lineal feet of sidewalk edging 6.1.4: Warren County Interstate 71 Roadside Rest Areas 8-37 and 8-38 • Northbound 8-37 Site o All Areas identified Approximately 4.6 Acres o Approximately 1,800 lineal feet of sidewalk edging • Southbound 8-38 Site o All Areas identified Approximately 6.3 Acres o Approximately 1,350 lineal feet of sidewalk edging 6.2: Routine Maintenance Mowing and Trimming Vendor shall mow and trim lawn areas for approximately thirty (30) cuts per season between April 15 and November 30 annually as detailed below: Mow and trim as necessary assuring that turf is maintained between three (3) and four (4) inches in height. During hot and dry weather, maintain turf between four (4) and five (5) inches in height to avoid turf stress. Trimming of grass shall take place within two (2) days of mowing and as needed to keep a neat edge between the buildings, sidewalks, curbs, parking lots and fences, and the lawn. Trim fence lines of all grass and weeds. Note: Mowing shall not be performed when it is raining or if the grass is still wet. Not more than 1/3 total blade shall be removed during any mowing event. During droughts, lawns will not be mowed unless requested by the District Facilities Maintenance Supervisor or designated representative.
