Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Survey – The contractor shall replace the existing system(s) and field wiring of both the Access Control and Camera system. Door hardware (access control) currently in use may be reused if it is deemed feasible, this includes card readers. The proposed system should be Avigilon (or equivalent) which is used in other properties throughout the county. This proposed system can be standalone or connected to another Avigilon system in the county if it is deemed to be cost efficient. The access control system and camera system may be connected to one central hub or standalone based on the proposal. The county will entertain both options. 2. All existing system wiring must be removed as part of this project. 3. Proposed bidders are encouraged to tour the site- this can be scheduled by contacting Jason Remy at jremy@lickingcounty.gov or 740-670-5407. We plan to offer three days for site visits which will be announced at Pre-Bid meeting on July 11th at 3:00pm at the County Administration Building at 20 S. 2nd Street (Basement Meeting Room A). 4. The county would like up to 25% expansion capability in the new proposed system(s). 5. If any existing hardware is removed, painting and patching will be by the owner. 6. Vendor is responsible to replace any damaged ceiling tiles. 7. All work is to be done during normal working hours 8. Winning vendor will work with LC Security to ensure that building is secure each night. 9. Reuse existing door hardware where possible 10. Reuse existing access control readers where possible
