The work specified by this section consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, appliances, transportation, materials, disposal and all documentation associated with the project for Building 850 Facility 850 Domestic Water Heating Upgrade: Domestic Hot Water shall utilize (1) boiler with storage tank technology to supply the facility with hot water. Contractor shall pull any boiler permits and final inspection tags per code. Contractor shall provide submittals for approval on all the equipment installed. Cap solar water heating system lines being fed from the solar panels located in the room. Demo and remove the existing storage tank and the on-demand water heater. Any additional piping relative to the solar shall be removed to provide room for the new equipment. Provide min. 99k BTU boiler and all condensation kits terminated to the nearest drain. The boiler shall have min. 10 yr warranty. Provide an indirect storage tank with min. capacity of 110 gallons with stainless steel construction offering commercial lifetime limited warranty. Provide boiler trim kits, air separator, backflow preventor, autofill and expansion tank sized accordingly and charged. Contracting shall supply and install the following: All piping from the existing supply and return lines to the boiler and storage tank. All electrical connections to facility power All venting from the unit to the existing roof penetration. All natural gas lines from the existing to the new unit. All fiberglass insulation on water lines. Contractors shall provide all necessary material and workmanship to make a functional hot water system. All programming and commissioning are the responsibility of the contractor. Closeout documents shall include OM Manuals, Warranty Paperwork and Ohio Dept of Commerce Boiler Cert. The warranty shall be 1 year on workmanship on all equipment. The contractor shall provide training to govt. personnel on the system. All demo materials shall be removed off base.
