Furnish all labor and materials to perform work in strict accordance with specifications for the project: Repair Existing Asphalt Parking Lot. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment and complete the following: A. Demolition: i. Remove 2” of the top cap of existing asphalt on POV parking lot and access drives, (approximately 8,576 Sq. Yds). See the owner’s representative and the attached map (Appendix 1). ii. Remove any existing concrete parking blocks and save them for re-use. B. Installation: A. In areas where demolition of asphalt transpired (see paragraph SW III.1.A.i.). Install approximately 8,576 Sq. yds of 2” topcoat of asphalt. i. Apply the proper tack coat. ii. Use #448 type 1 asphalt materials (PG64-22). iii. Roll to a smooth finish. iv. New asphalt needs to follow existing grade and drain properly to all existing drains. B. Striping of new parking lots. i. Striping shall be one consistent color, semi-permanent, reflective traffic paint with reflective glass beads to enhance visibility. ii. Parking spaces will be striped, white, except at the end of each row of parking or at handicapped accessible aisles. These lines will be painted yellow. All crosswalks, no parking areas and access walks will be striped in yellow. iii. Parking spaces are a minimum of 10’ wide from center of stripe, by a minimum of 20’deep. All lines must be 4” wide. iv. Handicap parking space markings shall be blue with white lettering. 2. Contractor is responsible for removing all rubbish generated during this service/project. And submit waste disposal tickets to the owner’s representative at the conclusion of the project. 3. Contractor is responsible to secure any and all licenses and/or permits, which may be needed for the successful completion of this project. 4. Contractor is responsible to provide their own water, power, and exterior restroom facilities for the duration of this project.
