Selected Regional Training Providers will submit OPOTA advanced training courses to be offered for OPOTA review and approval. Approved courses will be listed as OPOTA courses in the OPOTA Portal online catalog, and the student registration for courses will occur through the OPOTA Portal. The Regional Training Provider will be responsible for all costs associated with hosting and delivering the OPOTA advanced training courses and will submit course completion records regarding course delivery. Upon successful completion of a course, students will receive an OPOTA certificate from the Regional Training Provider, and a record of the trainings will appear in the student’s official OPOTA transcript. Regional Training Providers will provide course materials, supplies, equipment and acceptable facilities for classroom, firearms, subject control physical skills and or, driving training. Regional Training Providers will also provide qualified instructors for advanced training courses provided. The AGO will provide course curriculum including outlines and course content requirements to Regional Training Providers.
