Project/Program Description: The Warren-Trumbull HOME Consortium assists low- to moderate-income, single-family homeowners living within Trumbull County to rehabilitate their property in order to improve the supply of safe, sanitary, and affordable housing. Additionally, the Warren-Trumbull HOME Consortium participates in the acquisition and rehabilitation of single-family homes for sale to low- to moderate-income individuals/families for which the property would serves as their primary residence. Rehabilitation activities can include the following: exterior painting; installation/replacement of vinyl siding; replacement/repair of roof systems; repair/replacement of exterior doors and windows; repair of existing porches, steps, and sidewalks; repair/replacement of driveways; ADA compliant access upgrades and improvements for recipients meeting ADA criteria; any improvements required to bring the unit up to residential rehabilitation standards, and local codes. Time frame will cover potential projects between June 1, 2025 and December 31, 2027. No trees will be disturbed during the course of any projects. Tier 2 site specific reviews will be completed for those laws and authorities not addressed in the tier 1 broad review for each address under this program when addresses become known.
