Specifications include, but are not limited to:CMHA is seeking proposals from independent contractors with demonstrated professional competence and experience to provide CMHA with replacement of existing intercom systems. The Authority seeks a formal response from firms as to qualifications and experience to perform assignments within the Scope of Services. The Authority, at its sole discretion, may award one or more contracts to perform the services. The Contractor(s) selected by the Authority will be required to follow the Authority policies as specified in this RFP, the Performance Based Contract and subsequent work orders. 2.1GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Intercoms shall be free standing for entrances, lobbies and gates. Intercoms shall allow building tenants to communicate with visitors and grant or deny entry. Units shall display residential or commercial building directory listings with a building specific screen saver. Options include card access and elevator control. Touch screen is desired with heavy duty key pad for optional use to locate and find clients in the directory. Intercom versions shall have additional features including “hot buttons”, multiple languages, enhanced search and PIN codes. Multiple panels shall be connected on a shared database able to be updated through common software features either through a Web based or local intranet connection. 2.1.1Contractor is responsible for all costs and materials associated with the complete installation and connectivity of the Replacement Intercom.
