The City intends to award a combined sales and development agreement for the Property, totaling 12.21 acres of land with frontage on Whipple Ave NW, W. Maple St NW, and Wise Ave NW in North Canton, Ohio. The City would prefer a commercial development that adds jobs, expands the tax base, and provides more amenities and services for North Canton residents. The city is looking for a Developer who can demonstrate an ability to achieve the highest and best use of this property, maximize its economic potential, and provide value to North Canton taxpayers. The creation of the sales and development agreement will be overseen by the City’s Director of Administration or their designee. The City will select the proposal that it deems to be in its best interest at its sole discretion.
