Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Provide on-site evaluation of existing pumps in service at the water treatment plant. Evaluation should include, but limited to laser alignment, vibration analysis, thermal imaging, condition assessment and evaluation of preventive maintenance schedules. a. A detailed report with recommendations is to be delivered once the evaluation has occurred. b. The service provider must have full service trucks; must be stocked with tools, rigging equipment and parts for repairs. B. Provide repair shop services. Must be able to repair all types and models. Once in the shop a detailed disassembly report with pictures including reasons for failure and solutions for extending the life of the pumps is to be delivered. a. The service provider in their shop must provide impeller trimming, impeller balance, bearing protection, coating application to pump’s wearable parts, in addition to other relevant services. C. Provide machine shop services. Work in the machine shop must be able to machine new parts and/or reverse engineer and machine existing parts, provide new parts, new pump sleeves, shaft, and custom parts to OEM specifications of the pump.
