Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Annual Ohio Travel Guide. This flagship publication for the Office of TourismOhio is the premiere travel magazine that promotes Ohio’s tourism experiences by utilizing the Ohio. Find It Here. brand to showcase opportunities for emotional connections while traveling in Ohio. a. 400,000 copies of the 2022 Ohio Travel Guide (print and digital versions) shall deliver on January 14, 2022. b. 400,000 copies of the 2023 Ohio Travel Guide (print and digital versions) shall deliver on January 13, 2023. c. No underage is allowed in either delivery. If more than 400,000 copies of the Publication are requested, a separate agreement will be negotiated between the State and the Contractor. 2. Digital Versions of the Ohio Travel Guide a. Digital versions of the Ohio Travel Guide must be formatted for desktop and mobile and provided to TourismOhio no less than a week before the print version delivery date. b. The Contractor must provide search engine optimized versions of each editorial story in the Ohio Travel Guide itemized and ready to be put on Ohio.org. Each story should include the original photography that is included in the print version. The State welcomes innovative ideas from the Contractor on how to best present the publication content digitally. 3. Mobile App a. According to a survey by eMarketer, travel-based mobile apps are the seventh most-downloaded app category and almost 60% of Smartphone users regularly use travel apps while planning trips. Mobile apps have not only improved the travel experience of users but also benefited tourism-based companies in a big way.b. The Contractor must develop a mobile app version of the Ohio Travel Guide which shall include, but is not limited to, accurate destination and event information with click throughs to the home websites (when available) for each listing.4. The Contactor must provide digitally formatted files via email. Online versions must be at least of similar quality to what is currently being offered at: http://www.ohio.org/order-guide. Google Analytics must be set up for the State to access as needed. All editorial copy and listings URLs and all advertising must be hyperlinked. The State welcomes innovative ideas from the Contractor on how to best present the publication content digitally. 5. The State shall work with the publisher to increase the number of digital readers of the Ohio Travel Guide.
