Phase 1a: Artist Idea Generation & Community Engagement (Jan – Feb 2025) Idea generation and public engagement shall include at least two community meetings/design events and preliminary design ideas. Artist fee: $3,000 Phase 1b: Design (March – April 2025) Artist idea development, community engagement, detailed design, and construction drawings stamped by a professional engineer. Artist fee: up to $15,000 (commensurate with fabrication budget which will be determined by grant awards announced ~January – March 2025). Phase 2: Fabrication (May – November 2025) FUTURE PHASE The final fabrication & artist fee budget will be determined in March 2025 based on grants received. We anticipate the fabrication/installation budget will range from $30,000 up to $75,000. The final artist fee for fabrication will be negotiated.
