Specifications include, but are not limited to: Conduct weekly Protestant worship services. Provide religious study or education classes. Provide general pastoral care to Protestant Incarcerated Persons, which may include: consultation concerning religious issues, grief care, crisis pastoral counseling, pastoral visitation with Incarcerated Persons in special units which may include segregation, death row, hospital, hospice, living units and visiting room. Attend mandatory, annual Religious Service Meeting. Make referrals for Incarcerated Persons to appropriate services. Distribute religious literature and/or conduct religious programs. Assist Chaplain in appropriate duties and/or conducting religious programs at institution. Perform holiday services (i.e. Easter and Christmas); Conduct funeral services; Complete a Monthly Report form on services provided to be submitted to the DWSS and the ODRC Religious Services Administrator-Operations Support Center no later than the 5th of each month.
