The contracted vendor(s) will be responsible for completing pre-employment identity, employment eligibility, education and employment history verification, driver’s license search/MVR record and criminal background search services on select job candidates in various County agencies and departments. Job candidates may be subject to some, but not all of these verifications and searches dependent upon the duties of the position. In addition, the County Sheriff’s Department or other agencies may complete some checks and verifications based on the requirements of the position. Vendors should be prepared to complete approximately 600 verifications and/or checks per year with case completion results reported only to the appropriate County staff via secure electronic means with 5 business days from the day of request. This estimate is not a guarantee of work volume. In case of any delay, written communication with the appropriate County representative regarding the reason for the delay(s) and plans to mediate will be required.
