The Division of Police, Department of Public Safety, City of Columbus, Ohio is seeking proposals for a Helicopter Maintenance and Service Agreement for the City owned police helicopters. The Agreement will be used to repair and maintain the fleet of Columbus Police helicopters. The bidder’s proposal shall meet the criteria and standards related to aviation maintenance, as set forth in the Public Safety Aviation Accreditation Commission (PSAAC) process. A copy of the PSAAC Maintenance Standards will be provided to all those in the bid process. Bids shall cover furnishing the City of Columbus Ohio, a helicopter maintenance and service agreement to apply to helicopters owned and/or leased by the City and any newly purchased helicopters as replacements for any helicopters during the effective dates of this agreement. The City of Columbus presently operates MD helicopters and will soon operate Bell helicopters.
