Preparation Inspect each area requiring patchwork, such as cracks, dents, or holes. Ensure all walls are dry, and free of debris before starting work. Remove or cover all furniture, fixtures, and floor surfaces to protect from dust and paint splatters. Mask and tape all baseboards, trim, and edges around ceilings, doors, and windows to ensure clean paint lines. Move or protect any electrical outlets, light fixtures, and vent covers. Patching Patch all cracks, holes, or surface imperfections using suitable materials for drywall or plaster. Sand patched areas smoothly to blend with the existing surface, ensuring a seamless finish. Conduct a final inspection to confirm all patched areas are smooth and level. Priming (if required) Apply primer to any patched areas or other areas where needed, ensuring color consistency. Painting Materials and Color: Use paint specified by the client (e.g., low-VOC paint, finish type (SATIN), and color) on walls and ceilings. Paint Application: Apply at least two coats of paint for full coverage and uniform finish. Maintain proper ventilation and temperature during the painting process. Check for uniformity in color and texture after each coat and correct any visible inconsistencies. Clean-Up Remove all protective coverings carefully to avoid any paint spills or damage. Clean any minor paint splatters on floors, trim, and fixtures. Restore each area its original condition, moving furniture and fixtures back into place.
