Supplier to perform landscaping maintenance services at Natural Resources Park (aka Kayak Pond Area) on the Ohio State Fair Grounds as follows: Work may occur in May, June 2-3 (there is an ODNR picnic there on June 4) and late June, and throughout July leading up to the July 23 opening of the fair. General Bed Maintenance/Detailing; This service should include weeding, groundcover trimming/controlling, debris removal, removal of spent blooms, monitoring and removal of browning leaves and branches. Spring/Fall Clean-Up; A more in-depth cleaning which includes everything in general bed maintenance and the addition of perennial and grass dividing, bed edging, mulch raking, and seasonal perennial trim down. These services are like “deep-cleaning” of the landscape one to two times per year. We would also like sapling removal, invasive species removal-including poison ivy, etc. Irrigation System Start Up and Shut Down; Initial season opening start-up of irrigation system in the garden beds around kayak pond from the main valve at the Natural Resources Park. Perform full inspection of all lines throughout the irrigation / sprinkler system. Provide a detailed report on the seasonal readiness of the irrigation system. Precautions should be taken to not damage surrounding bushes, shrubs, and plants. Delivery Date: To be completed no later than July 21-22, 2025 for Spring, and November 15, 2025 for Fall.
