Specifications include, but are not limited to: This specification is intended to provide for the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) minimum requirements for a four-wheel drive regular cab/chassis with dump body, snowplow, salt spreader and other miscellaneous equipment. The vehicle shall be used by the GCRTA for maintenance operations and snow removal as required. 4.1.2 The cab/chassis and all equipment provided shall be new, current model, never titled and as customarily offered by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Previously used cab/chassis and equipment such as loaner and demonstrator models shall not be acceptable. 4.1.3 The cab/chassis and all equipment provided shall be compliant with all applicable federal, state and local rules, laws and regulations in force at the time of manufacturer. The cab/chassis and all equipment shall be constructed utilizing the latest standards and practices of such organizations as the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), American Society for Testing and Materials International (ASTM), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 29 CFR section 1910.67, AWS welding standards and other related government and industry organizations. The GCRTA reserves the right to reference these standards in the evaluation, acceptance, and all other aspects of the procurement of this vehicle.
