The Kent State University Department of Anthropology seeks to purchase a quantity of one hundred (100) identical Google Pixel Tablets. Each tablet should be the 128GB variant, should be "unlocked" (that is, not locked to a specific wireless carrier), should exclude the optional "speaker dock" and should be brand new (that is, not used or refurbished). Ideally, the fleet of tablets should be the same color variant (e.g., "hazel") so that no tablets stand out as visually different than others. These tablets will be used for in-person, on-site surveys with student populations. These surveys will pertain to very sensitive topics and as such maximizing the local and network-based security of the tablets is paramount. The Google Pixel tablet has been chosen because it is only the tablet in current production that supports the advanced security features of GrapheneOS (https://grapheneos.org/features). Each tablet will be loaded with GrapheneOS after purchase.
