To assist participating institutions in serving Harvest of the Month food items, the Office of Nutrition is seeking Suppliers to create standardized recipes featuring Harvest of the Month foods for use in federal Child Nutrition programs. Recipes may be tested by schools or childcare centers for acceptance among students and staff. The department wants to seek experienced Offeror(s) to provide the following: Development of at least 30 (and up to 40) new and original standardized recipes featuring the 24 selected Harvest of the Month foods., A nutritional analysis with each recipe using USDA Approved Nutrient Analysis Software to indicate how the recipe credits for each child nutrition program and grade level are calculated. At least 15 of the 35 recipes as having a focus on regional or cultural cuisine specific to the state of Ohio and provide an explanation as to how the recipe is regionally or culturally relevant.
