A. General Maintenance Requirements: 1. All work must comply with any Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards and all federal, state, and local regulations. 2. All service work must meet and/or exceed manufacturer/industry standards. 3. Respondent shall at all times, in the performance of this work, exercise due care and caution for the safety and welfare of the workmen employed on the job, OOD employees and property. 4. The Respondent shall be responsible for repairing any and all damage, caused by Respondent negligence, to the OOD owned and/or leased property and grounds at the Respondent’s expense. 5. All work shall be performed by qualified personnel. Qualifications shall be presented upon request. 6. All Respondent scheduled services must be done at times approved by the appropriate OOD Facilities representative. All service activities should be performed during mutually agreed upon hours unless the particular service request requires otherwise. 7. Services shall be performed Monday – Friday (excluding holidays as defined in R.C. 124.19) between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:00PM unless a different time and/or date is agreed upon by OOD Facilities Representative(s) in advance. 8. Respondent shall provide forty-eight (48) hour notice of intended dates and time of service before scheduled services. 9. Respondent shall notify the OOD Facilities Representative as soon as they are aware a service call cannot be completed. The Respondent shall reschedule the service call in coordination with an OOD Facilities Representative. 10. The Respondent and its personnel shall follow all OOD security check-in procedures upon arrival and while at the facility. 11. Permits and licenses of any nature necessary for any and all work shall be secured and paid for by the Respondent. 12. All Respondent provided services must be performed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) trained or properly certified personnel, where applicable. 13. The Respondent shall be responsible for the removal of all debris from the work site and cleaning work areas. The Respondent shall keep the premises free of any debris resulting from their work as work progresses. The Respondent shall properly remove such debris and materials from the property. 14. Respondent shall furnish all necessary equipment and crews for the completion of the work outlined in the Exhibit[A]. B. Preventative Maintenance for Toyota Forklift Truck 1. Respondent shall provide preventative maintenance services for Toyota Forklift Truck to include but not limited to: a. Check the engine idle speed and ignition timing b. Lubricate the chassis and mast c. Change the engine fluids and filters d. Inspect the brakes e. Inspect the hydraulic system and mast f. Check the belts, hoses, drive train, steering, and electrical system g. Inspect the tires for damage and wear h. Check for fluid leaks i. Inspect the differential, torque converter, and transmission for oil level, leaks, looseness, and function j. Check battery voltage and inspect the battery cables for corrosion, tightness, and secure connections. C. Preventative Maintenance for Toyota Pallet Lifts 1. Respondent shall provide preventative maintenance services for Toyota Pallet Lifts to include but not limited to: a. Look for any visible damage, cracks, or deformations on the frame, forks, wheels, and body of the pallet jack b. Check for bent or twisted components c. Inspect for any hydraulic fluid leaks from hoses or connections d. Verify the proper operation of the emergency stop button, horn, and load-limit indicator e. Check the hydraulic fluid level in the reservoir and top off as needed f. Examine hoses for cracks, wear, or leaks and look for signs of wear of leakage around the hydraulic cylinders g. Check the battery charge level and ensure it is within acceptable range h. Inspect the battery cables for corrosion, tightness, and secure connections i. If applicable, check the electrolyte level and add distilled water if necessary j. Check for any bending, warping, or damage on the forks and ensure the forks are aligned and parallel k. Confirm the load capacity is appropriate for the intended use l. Check the tire pressure and adjust as needed, as well as inspect tires for tears, cuts, and damage m.Check for excessive play in the wheel bearings n. Verify that all control levers operate smoothly and respond properly o. Check for any unusual play or binding in the steering system p. Lubricate all grease fittings on moving parts, including wheels, bearings, and pivot points
