The anticipated addition will include approximately 6,500 square feet of new space designed and constructed to complement and enhance the Piqua campus. This addition will connect to the current facility and will allow expansion of the current programs. Included will be lecture hall space, classroom space, examination (lab) classroom space and associated/complementary support spaces. Some renovation will be included in the current nursing education space. This work will be primarily cosmetic and refurbishment in nature, consisting of flooring, painting, lighting replacement and upgrades, patching and repair, etc. Other work should be anticipated such as investigation, assessment and inspection of the site and current facilities. The development of the POR will include a comprehensive survey/field investigation of the existing site and surrounding areas to evaluate the existing conditions in relation to the project scope described above, and in relation to the project budget. The project scope will then be evaluated, prioritized, and defined/redefined to align with available project funds.
