Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Cincinnati seeks qualified planning consultants to facilitate, manage, and prepare neighborhood-level long-range plans for various neighborhoods who have requested a new or updated comprehensive plan through the City’s Community Budget Request process. The City seeks consultants who have a knowledge of City of Cincinnati neighborhoods and City processes and can demonstrate successful preparations of long-range plans for various population sizes and challenges faced. The successful offeror will have a strong background in issues of importance to the City. The successful offeror will have demonstrated knowledge of planning practices and processes, including land use analysis and urban and graphic design skills, and experience with community engagement, mediation, and consensus building. The planning consultant(s) will work directly with and be responsible to the staff of the Department of City Planning and Engagement. The consultant(s) will be responsible for designing a planning process that will result in a complete plan, ready for review and approval by the City Planning Commission and City Council within one year from Plan kickoff. Consultant(s) will be responsible for: design and execution of process; facilitation and management of the Steering Committee; all preliminary research including existing conditions analysis;
