Optometry The contractor will deliver comprehensive optometry services to patients referred by NOBH. They will prescribe and supply eyeglasses and other hospital-approved optical aids to correct visual impairments. The contractor will perform examinations, diagnose, treat, and manage conditions, injuries, and disorders related to the visual system. Optometry services must be provided by licensed optometrists who are authorized to practice in the state of Ohio and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Podiatry Services The contractor will provide specialized medical care in podiatry for patients referred by NOBH. This includes the examination, diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of both acute and chronic foot conditions using palliative reduction, orthopedic methods, topical medications, antibiotics, or therapeutic footwear.
