Provide all equipment from which to merchandise food products, sell food products and finish food products including: Refrigerators Freezers Displays/Racks Microwaves Single cup hot beverage dispenser including cups, condiments and holders/caddies for components Equipment for frozen beverages/smoothies PCI compliant self-checkout kiosks Millwork, stands and related Security system including cameras and related equipment Supplier will provide signage for locations and marketing materials. Supplier should include with submission an image of their market that demonstrates brand. Supplier will provide all food and beverages and other items sold in the markets. Supplier shall offer for sale an appropriate mix of refrigerated, frozen, shelf stable food, beverage, and snacks. All food items offered for sale are allowable in a risk level one operation. The product mix will include healthy offerings. Where indicated, verbiage to identify healthful products is used. The product must include, but not limited to, the following: Refrigerated/Frozen Meals and Meal Components - Supplier should offer a variety of foods that may be eaten cold or require additional heating. Products should include a variety of breakfast and lunch/dinner foods, soup products, and other heat and eat entrée items such as branded frozen meals. Fresh, refrigerated offerings will include salads and sandwiches. Supplier will provide a list of offerings that comply with this category. Cold Beverages – To include a variety of products including sugar free carbonated beverage, 100% juice, plain bottled water and energy beverages. Supplier shall include a list of proposed products. All beverages must be provided in recyclable aluminum cans with "litter-free" pop tops, or recyclable plastic bottles or cartons. Hot Coffee/Chocolate/Tea - Supplier must specify what products, brands and variety of beverages offered such as espresso, latte type products. Coffee and tea products where applicable, shall include both regular and caffeine free varieties. Supplier should verify compliant dispensing of the hot beverage portfolio. (Note on water: Water for hot beverage program should be filtered. Supplier should provide details on proposed equipment that specifically addresses whether the equipment to be furnished has self-contained water filtering mechanism or alternative in-line filter system.) Frozen Blended Beverages – To include blended milkshakes and smoothie type products to the extent allowable by code. Describe method of dispensing and special utility requirements for machine operation. Snacks - Supplier should provide a large variety of pre-packed and fresh products. They should include items such as yogurts, baked snacks and chips, fruit bars, dried fruits, nuts, fruit cups, pretzels, whole grain crackers and low-fat popcorn. Suppliers must provide a list of proposed products with their bid proposal. Products for sale shall comply with federal food labeling regulations. Any product offered must be fresh/wholesome when delivered. All items must be maintained, rotated and replaced in accordance with good practices or all applicable local, state, federal storage regulations. Sell prices are transparent and/or readily available to market users. No tobacco or alcohol products shall be sold, offered, or given away Kiosk (transaction processing) technology provides cash, credit and cashless options for payment. Apple/Google pay compatible required. Describe ability to process a transaction using payroll deduction. Payroll deduction capabilities highly preferred. Describe ability to process transactions with MetroHealth specific programs such as subsidies, meal vouchers or similar. Describe ability to implement promotional codes, discounts or related at various market sites or specific to SKUs. Describe how your market employs technology to enhance the customer experience, drive sales and optimize efficiencies. Customers of the market have direct access to supplier for problem resolution such as issuing refunds or general customer feedback. MetroHealth has access to sales data such as amounts, types, values and financial reporting. MetroHealth has access to camera footage MetroHealth will provide: Preparation of physical spaces Water, electric and connections Furnishing of physical spaces for seating, trash collection Cleaning of physical space Secure identification badge access to market sites when needed Cooperation and/or action on employee theft allegations
