MetroHealth is seeking a medical transport partner who will coordinate and ensure timely, cost-effective ambulance and/ or specialized transportation services that are requested by The MetroHealth. Service will include the coordination of an appropriate number of ambulances and wheelchair transportation vans providing patients 24-hour access to MetroHealth Medical Center and its facilities, 7 days per week. Service will include transportation between the following MetroHealth locations: Hospital interfacility/ discharges from the MetroHealth main campus. MetroHealth Community Emergency Departments (unscheduled transfers to MH main campus). MetroHealth Express Cares and Clinics. MetroHealth Cleveland Heights Behavioral Health. MetroHealth – Old Brooklyn Campus (primarily scheduled transports for varying appointments, occasional unscheduled due to emergent care needed). MetroHealth Outpatient Departments (scheduled appointments only). MetroHealth is requesting that dispatching of all vehicles be completed 24 hours/day and 7 days/week by the vendor.
