Basic description of the requirement [Provided for Situational Awareness Only - Please see attached form for actual Market Survey questions]: Inspection services for the Fire Alarm/ Mass Notification (MNS) / Mass Warning Notification Systems (MWNS) for roughly three dozen buildings at DSCC Columbus. The contractor will be tasked with providing performance-based testing/inspection services to ensure the building life safety systems achieve a 99 percent overall system reliability in response to an actual fire event. The contractor will provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services specified. All Fire Alarm/MNS/MWNS testing/inspection of systems, their initiating devices, controls, and notification appliances will comply with UFC 4-021-01, UFC-3-600-02, and NFPA 72, Chapter 14, Tables 14.3.1 and 14.4.3.2 requirements. The Contractor shall be responsible for performing all work following the more stringent requirements of the referenced code books, unless otherwise noted herein. The contractor will also maintain records and maintenance logs for all equipment to be serviced.
