Specifications include, but are not limited to:The MetroHealth System (MH) is seeking bids for managed security services. At the present time, outsourced managed services include: Network Intrusion Detection (IDS via Snort), Intrusion Prevention (via Checkpoint IPS), and quarterly external/internal penetration testing. A process is in place to communicate security events that should be investigated and resolved by MH. The scope of this RFP includes: evaluation, selection, and implementation of the requested managed security services. The criteria that will be used for the selection process include 1.) cost effectiveness of the proposed solution; 2.) fit with existing MH network, infrastructure and security components; 3) how quickly and easily the proposed solution can be implemented; 4) integration with existing processes; and 5) ease of use. Functional Requirements Provide 24 x 7 network security monitoring (IDS/IPS monitoring and alerting). Provide quarterly external and internal penetration testing. Provide annual risk assessments of Checkpoint firewall rules and Aruba wireless.
