• The scope of work is to provide all labor, material, equipment, accessories, etc. as required for the complete installation of a new set of arena Dasher Boards. The size is to match existing configuration at: 200-foot-long x 85-foot-wide rink with 28-foot radius corners. • The basis of design is the CrystaPlex 6A Series System by Athletica Sports Systems. • Where materials or suppliers have been named, the words “or approved equal” shall apply. Approval must be obtained from Miami University in writing prior to acceptance of an “equal”. Requests for equivalent approval must be submitted in writing, a minimum of 5 days before bid closing. If the “approved equal” is approved, the Contractor or Supplier shall be responsible for all costs associated with the use of the “approved equal” component. • Provide a complete installation of the board system by the manufacturer or manufacturer approved dealer in accordance with the drawings and specifications • Miami University will remove in its entirety the existing dasher board system prior to commencement of this project. • The contractor will make themselves fully aware of all existing conditions prior to commencement of work.
