The primary objective of this RFI is to obtain information from potential sources regarding the replacement of mobile data computer (MDC) software. The City is requesting information regarding the following, at a minimum: a. Ability to operate in a mobile or wireless broadband environment. b. Multifactor authentication with active directory integration is required. c. Ability to query Criminal Justice Information from various data sources (RCIC, LEADS, NCIC, BMV, etc.). d. Provide Query forms for various types of queries (Vehicle, Person, Gun, Boat, etc.); e. Provide a Summary Screen comprising of key information and images parsed out from various responses public education support. f. Display custom alert flags on the Summary Screen. g. Provide hyperlinks in key fields (DL, SSN, Name, etc.) so that users can initiate secondary queries. h. Ability to send selected information from the Summary Screen to a third-party RMS system. i. Ability to review the details of individual responses from various sources pertaining to a query. j. Generate audible alerts for responses containing critical information such as Wanted Person, Stolen Vehicle, etc. k. Alert other officers in the group when a query response contains critical information related to Officer Safety. l. Ability to interface with multiple Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems and load CAD forms based on the officer’s agency/jurisdiction. m. Ability to pass login credentials to a third-party CAD system for simultaneous authentication. n. Ability to receive dispatches and perform subsequent functions such as Enroute, On Scene, Update, Clear, etc...
