The project will consist of the total reconstruction of the existing sidewalk section on Main Avenue in the downtown area of the City of Ashtabula. The limits of the project will be on Main Avenue from Collins Boulevard to W. 44th Street. These improvements will enhance the area by creating safe and aesthetically appealing access for pedestrians. The existing degraded sidewalk will be replaced with new concrete walk and curb. As part of the project, the existing streetlights will be replaced within the project limits. The following items will be included as part of the project: ADA compliant curb ramps, sidewalk replacement, pavement removal/replacement as required, curb removal/replacement as required, driveway restoration, pavement markings and signage replacement, manhole/monument box reconstructed to grade as necessary, linear grading including topsoil, seeding and mulching, restoration, etc., and conduit for future street/pedestrian light installation.
