Specifications include, but are not limited to: Madison Correctional is seeking a religious services provider to perform the duties of a Catholic Contract Deacon. The contract Deacon will perform duties on Zone A compound on a mutually agreed schedule consisting of: • Religious Education/Instruction. • Communion and /or assist at Mass. Ministry services include: • Pastoral Care and visitation of incarcerated persons to include specialized units, TPU, RTU, Infirmary. • Distribute religious materials. • Make referral of incarcerated persons to appropriate services. • Assist Chaplain in appropriate duties and/or conducting of religious services. • Conduct funeral service for Catholic incarcerated persons. • Perform holiday services (Easter/Christmas). • Complete monthly reports on services provided; submit to Deputy Warden of Special Services (DWSS). • Any other requested specialized ministry service must be pre-approved by the Operation Support Center.
