A. Project Description The project consists of renovations and/or new work for three separate Ohio Attorney General facilities: Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) London Tactical Training Center / OPOTA London Main Campus / Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) London. These three facilities are located in London, Madison County. The scope of work for these projects includes: London BCI OPOTA HVAC Controls Replacement of HVAC controls will allow an upgrade to current operations standards and the ability to control and properly maintain temperature, humidity, and recommended air exchanges in the London Facilities. London BCI Evidence Building New evidence fee standing storage facility (approx. 6,700 SF) to address long term storage of DNA samples, long term storage of evidence and current storage of crime scene supplies. London TTC Outdoor Range Renovation New covered shelter directly adjacent to the 125-yard outdoor gun range to protect approx. 25 officers, their equipment and firearms from the elements when shooting at the range. New multilevel platform at the 300-yard outdoor gun range to provide precision rifle and sniper training. Also, replace existing shed with new enlarged storage building adjacent to the range platform. London Renovations Includes parking lot replacement(s), including but not limited to, asphalt paving, concrete sidewalks/aprons, exterior stair replacement, concrete pads, curbs, and drain basins.
