Specifications include, but are not limited to: Operating system Identity, role, and electronic signature Access control Accountability and audit Web-based access Virus and other vulnerability protection Electronic Data Interchange Remote access, maintenance, and support Agreements required DETAILS The MetroHealth System (MHS) is committed to safeguarding the privacy, integrity, and availability of critical and confidential information. MHS is also committed to complying with all applicable laws and accreditation standards in matters of security. Accordingly vendors and suppliers of products and/or service to MHS shall be required to provide documentation indicating their compliance with the standards specified in this document. They shall also be required to extend any existing warranty with an appropriate addendum to cover unforeseeable gaps of compliance with respect to these standards that are within the vendor’s control. MHS reserves the right to change the requirements specified as need to maintain ongoing regulatory compliance
