A. Plan Underwriting and General Responsibilities Offeror must be a plan administrator, not a broker representative, which has the financial stability to maintain a multi-year contract. Must provide products approved in the State of Ohio. Must be able to provide access to plan benefit coverages to members who reside throughout the United States. Agrees to accept the City’s definitions of eligibility for Active employees and dependents. Agrees to work collaboratively with City Staff and the City’s health care consultant. Must provide return to work programming for long term disability beneficiaries. Agrees to work collaboratively with all City vendors on other plan benefit-related projects such as open enrollment, wellness programs, data initiative and member satisfaction survey. Agrees to provide renewal underwriting methodology to the City and its health care consultant, as needed. Agrees to notify the City in writing and obtain approval of any changes to their services including, but not limited to, outsourcing of services outside the United States and its territories. Agrees to notify the City in writing of any data breach involving or potentially involving City enrollment, claims or personal data.
