The areas of legal expertise to be procured on an as-needed basis by LMH include but are not limited to the following: Labor Law and Employee Law Workers’ Compensation Unemployment Compensation Forcible Entry and Detainer Actions in Toledo and Sylvania Municipal Ohio Civil Rights Commission Charges – Housing Ohio Civil Rights Commission Charges – Employment Creditors’ Rights Real Estate transactions, zoning codes, and related matters Knowledge of financing related to moderination and construction of commercial and residential properties, like an apartment complex, using various funding sources including but not limited to Low Income Housing Tax Credits Opportunity Zone Transactions Non-Profit Corporate Law Administrative Appeals per R.C. 2505 and 2506 Appellate General Civil Litigation Terminations and Evictions Mixed Finance Consulting Bond Counsel Copyright and Trademark law Information Technology Human Resources Any other matter the HA needs services for The successful Proposer should be very familiar with regulations pertaining to Federal, State, and Local government, including housing, real estate, procurement, and contractual issues. LMH shall retain the right to have the successful proposer (s) provide services in any matter that LMH believes the legal firm is qualified to provide.
