The Central Ohio Transit Authority is in search of a Learning Management System Vendor (LMS) to guide and manage implementation of a robust Learning Management System to provide a centralized platform for efficient course administration, personalized learning experiences, collaboration, tracking learner progress, generating insights through analytics, and facilitating compliance training, enhance the overall employee learning experience and achieve organizational excellence. Key Elements • User Roles and Permissions: Defining different user roles (administrator, instructor, learner) and assigning appropriate access levels to manage courses, enroll students, view grades, etc. • Course Creation Content Management: • Creating and uploading various learning content formats (text, video, audio, presentations, SCORM packages). • Organizing content into structured courses with modules and lessons. • Options for content authoring tools to facilitate easy content creation. • Career Mapping Ability to create a visual representation of an employee’s career path progression and goals within the organization by identifying necessary skills, aligning relevant training courses, and tracking their development towards desired roles, all within the LMS platform itself.
