Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1a.Landscape Maintenance: To provide labor and materials to cut and edge grass once per week during grass cutting season, which will be determined by the Division of Motor Vehicle Maintenance. Also, provide other labor to keep MVM stations in a neat and orderly fashion. Work to include seasonal fertilizing of lawn areas, seeding/reseeding lawn areas where necessary and ensuring seeded/reseeded areas are covered with straw to adequately protect the seed and hold moisture. Also, to include collection and hauling away of all clippings and other debris while also cleaning cuttings from walks and drives. 1b.Weed Control: Weed control shall not only include all lawn/turf areas. Weed control will also include keeping the paved and parking areas weed free, including pavement cracks, edges, joints, etc. All areas should be100% weed free to the satisfaction of the site building manager. Contractor is required to follow Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines when applying any chemicals on the site. 2.Sprinkler System Maintenance and Repair as Needed: To provide maintenance in an ongoing basis for the sprinkler system at 5601 Carnegie avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44103 during the term of contract to include spring startup, and winter shutdown. Spring startup: shall include system turn on and zone evaluation as well as cleaning and correct aiming of sprinkler heads, along with the setting of the sprinkler timers to the correct times to allow for proper operation of the sprinkler system. Winter shutdown: shall include turning off the water and timer and blowing out all sprinkler lines to ensure no water is left in the water lines to avoid damage from freezing. 3.Landscaping Enhancements: Any enhancements such as mulch and/or stone installation or replacement must be quoted and authorized by the Division of Motor Vehicle Maintenance prior to any materials being ordered or work being done. Vendor will quote hourly rate for repairs which will include all equipment and labor. Vendor will also quote part cost to be at invoiced cost plus percentage added. Vendor to provide copy of original invoice showing the cost.
